Cool Sangria for Hot Summer

Just thinking about Sangria on a hot & humid southeastern afternoon makes me thirsty!  There’s a million Sangria recipes out there, but this is pretty much my go-to version when folks are coming over for a party.  Easy to make and I usually have the ingredients on hand and a couple bottles of Trader Joe’s $3 Chuck makes this a really economical party favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 750ml bottle of Trader Joe’s Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 1/4 Cup Bacardi Rum
  • 1/2 Cup Triple Sec
  • 1/4 Cup fresh squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Cup Orange Juice
  • 1/4 Cup frozen Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 1 Cup Ginger Ale
  • 1 Cup Lime LaCroix
  • 1 Lemon, sliced
  • 1 Lime, sliced
  • 1 Orange, sliced

Feel free to be generous with the portions.  Mix all the ingredients into a pitcher and chill for a few hours.  If you can wait.
